ABOUT DUFFYBAG

If you take a look around in the streets these days, you’ll find a lot of cotton tote bags on peoples’ shoulders. A Tote Bag, after all, is perfect because you can put anything and everything in it. But why would you settle for a simple, cotton bag, when you could also have a beautiful handmade one of durable stylish leather? This is where Dutch label DUFFYBAG comes in. DUFFYBAG is a derivative of a duffle bag, a large bag that fits all your stuff. Admit it, we all have a different bag for a different occasion; to go to work, shopping, the gym, the supermarket, out on the town, you name it. This no longer is with DUFFYBAG.

Dutch label
DUFFYBAG is an all Dutch label. The collection of DUFFYBAG is made entirely by hand in our atelier.

Handmade
From the start of cutting the leather all the way up to the finalization of the bag; every step is done by hand. This sumptuous and special process is what makes DUFFYBAG so unique.

Organic leather
Each DUFFYBAG is made of no less than 2,5 mm thick organic leather. The organic leather we use is a natural product whereby each scar, wrinkle and stretchmark can be seen as a defining feature. These exact features are what make every DUFFYBAG so unique and exclusive.

EXCHANGE AND RETURNS

Exchange and returns
Purchased products can be exchanged or returned within 7 days of delivery. Should this time frame be exceeded, exchange or return are no longer possible and the purchase will be final. We require an email within 4 days of delivery letting us know which product you would like exchange or return.

Exchange and return procedure
Please send us your mail via: info@duffybag.com. Please provide the following information in your email: the product you would like to exchange or return, your name, shipping address, bank account and the reason for your exchange or return. After correct receipt of the returned goods, a full refund will be deposited onto your bank account within 14 days. DUFFYBAG will pay, once-only, for the shipment of exchanged goods.

Exchange and return policy
The following conditions apply in case of exchanging or returning good(s):

  • Returns are only by mail and within 7 days of delivery
  • The product has not been used
  • The product is in the original packaging with its original associated material
  • The product is without damage or stains
  • There have been no attempts at fixing any damage
  • The risks and costs of returning goods are for the buyer. DUFFYBAG recommends sending the return package via registered mail
  • Should an item be wrongly delivered, please return it. The costs will be borne by DUFFYBAG
  • Insufficiently paid or non-paid packages will not be accepted
  • Product and/or delivery failures need to be emailed to us within 3 days of delivery
  • If our exchange and return conditions are not met, we reserve the right to send the shipment back and charge the costs for shipment
WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

Warranty

  • DUFFYBAG guarantees that the delivered goods meet the usual requirements and standards to be expected from the product and guarantees that the goods are free from defects
  • The delivery note serves as proof of warranty
  • Should an item be defect or flawed, DUFFYBAG will borne the costs for exchange or repair
  • Regular damage, wear and tear, and deliberate and/or negligent actions cannot be claimed under warranty
  • The aforementioned warranty is valid for a period of 90 days after delivery

Liability

  • Liability of DUFFYBAG under a defective delivery is in all cases limited to (only) the replacement or repair of the product or to refund the purchase price, never exceeding it
  • DUFFYBAG accepts no liability for damage caused by washing or other forms of maltreatment of the delivered product
  • DUFFYBAG explicitly does not accept any claim for consequential damages in whatever form
  • DUFFYBAG is not liable for damage inflicted by third parties’ intent, fault, negligence or improper use
  • All legal relationships between buyer and DUFFYBAG are subject to Dutch law, even if a contract is wholly or partly implemented abroad or in case the buyer lives abroad

DUFFYBAG takes every complaint very seriously. If you are not satisfied with our products or services, please contact us via info@duffybag.com. We will handle your complaint immediately and will get back to you as soon as possible.

PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy policy
DUFFYBAG respects the privacy of her website users. When you sign up as a new customer, you authorize DUFFYBAG to store your data. Your personal information will be treated as confidential and will only be used to make sure your delivery will be handled as swiftly and smoothly as possible. If you subscribe to the DUFFYBAG newsletter, you authorize DUFFYBAG to store your personal data and email address so that we can inform you of future activities and offers from DUFFYBAG. Personal information will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances, unless it is necessary on behalf of your delivery or due to statutory regulations.

Safe and convenient payment is paramount at DUFFYBAG. All our transactions are secure and encrypted using the SSL protocol. Details will not be retained in computer systems and cannot be intercepted. DUFFYBAG accepts online payment via iDeal, PayPal and credit card.

iDeal allows you to check out reliable, secure and easy online purchases. iDeal is a program system that connects directly to your online banking application whenever you purchase something online. To use iDeal, you do not need to register, download or create an account. TERMS OF DELIVERY

Delivery via PostNL and DHL
When we have received your payment, DUFFYBAG sends all packages by registered mail with PostNL Parcel Services and DHL. We strive to ship your order as soon as possible according to the following conditions:

  • Shipment is within 3 days Delivery is 6 days a week, Sundays are excluded
  • Free second delivery attempt when not at home the first attempt If delivery cannot be made, PostNL will leave a note in your mailbox to come and collect your parcel

In case of a delayed delivery, we will contact you within 3 working days

FAQ

When could I expect my order?
Within the Netherlands you could expect your order within 5 working days. You will receive a Track and Trace number once your package is shipped. This allows you to track your package at any time. If you do not receive your order within this period, please contact us via info@duffybag.com.

Will non-stock products become available again?
Each DUFFYBAG product is hand made. Because of this sumptuous and unique process, it may occur that some products are out of stock. If your desired product is out of stock, please feel free to still place your order. Once we receive a new delivery (with a maximum of 8 weeks) we will immediately send you your requested DUFFYBAG.

Could I change or cancel my order?
When an order is placed we unfortunately cannot change or cancel it. This is because we strive to ship the order within the same day. Of course you maintain your rights with respect to the exchange and/or return policy of the product.

Could I return my order?
